We Love + Learn Preschool Program under the Institute for the Economic Development of Children provides a rich learning environment. We believe that emotional and social development is as important as academic knowledge. Social and emotional development enables the child to develop social skills that enable the child to learn.

Welcome to Love + Learn Preschool, your trusted Christian-based family childcare center dedicated to preparing children for kindergarten and beyond. With a strong focus on academic readiness and character development, we provide individualized instruction tailored to the unique needs of each learner. Led by a PA certified director and special education trained our engaging instructor, our engaging educational programs offer a rich learning environment filled with developmentally appropriate curricula and stimulating activities. At Love + Learn, we believe in fostering learning through direct instruction, guided exploration, and hands-on projects, all within a flexible routine designed to nurture each child’s growth and development. The core mandate of our preschool program is to teach prereading skills to children at a very young age. Research as shown that between the ages of 0-5 human brains can absorb a lot of information if provided the right environment and instruction. Our program can take advantage of this opportunity. Graduates
are prepared to read. Typical children are reading entering kindergarten. And they are prepared to read at one-two grade levels in advance in elementary schools that provide good reading programs.

Cherylyn Tripp, M.Ed.

DIRECTOR

Cherylyn Tripp is a dedicated PA Elementary Certified teacher with a Master’s degree in Elementary education, boasting 23 years of experience. With a commitment to maintaining high national academic standards infused with Christian-based values, she passionately fulfills her calling. Graduates of her program enter kindergarten well-prepared with excellent pre-reading and math skills, often assuming leadership roles in their classes. Tripp ensures that each child receives personalized attention, leading to successful transitions to various private, charter, and public schools. Additionally, her curriculum includes practical lessons on financial responsibility, empowering children to establish strong foundations in money management and saving alongside their peers. Nicole Tripp

LEAD TEACHER

Nicole Tripp is a dedicated preschool educator with 14 years of experience in the field. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Chestnut Hill College in 2020 and is currently enrolled in their Early Childhood/Special Education Masters degree program, scheduled to graduate in May 2025. With a heartfelt belief in nurturing the minds of children to foster their future growth, Nicole is committed to providing quality education and care.
